Farmland Weather Stations are of great significance to agricultural meteorological personnel. These devices mainly include instruments for measuring radiation and light, temperature, humidity, gas analysis, and wind speed, enabling all-weather fully automatic data collection and transmission in unattended environments.

Technical Composition and Functional Capabilities

Agricultural meteorological personnel use advanced observation equipment to "take films" of farmland and "conduct physical examinations" on crops. The observation equipment consists of seven major components: a monitoring platform, acquisition system, communication system, sensor system, power supply system, live monitoring system, and mechanical installation system. By establishing an automatic farmland weather station, it can directly measure meteorological factors such as photosynthetically active radiation, light intensity, air temperature and humidity, dew point temperature, wind direction and speed, and atmospheric pressure in the field, and combine live observation and LED displays for timely data transmission. These observation devices have functions such as automatic recording, over-limit alarm, and data communication, providing very useful meteorological data for studying and analyzing the impact of meteorological element changes on crop survival rate and growth status, as well as for scientific agricultural management.

Enabling Data-Driven Agricultural Management

Relying on these precise data, growers can conduct real-time "diagnosis and treatment" of crops, effectively breaking the traditional model of "relying on the weather for livelihood". Agricultural microclimate "physical examinations" have promoted the transformation of agricultural production from relying on natural conditions ("relying on the weather") to meteorological data-driven ("managing based on weather conditions"), achieving precise monitoring of the farmland environment and scientific planting.
