The Dust Monitoring Equipment is a dedicated system designed for dust and noise environmental monitoring and law enforcement in areas prone to dust generation, such as construction sites of building projects, road and pipeline construction sites, demolition sites, and stockpiling yards. It is composed of a data collector, sensors, a video monitoring system, a wireless transmission system, a background data processing system, and an information monitoring and management platform. The monitoring sub-station integrates multiple functions, including the monitoring of atmospheric PM2.5 and PM10, environmental temperature and humidity, wind speed and direction, as well as noise monitoring.

The network-connected Dust Monitoring Equipment has added a networking function on this basis, which is mainly achieved through wireless communication technology. Common 2G/3G/4G networks have a wide coverage area, good stability, and fast transmission speed. By connecting to the network through a SIM card, remote monitoring and management can be realized. Low-power wide-area network technologies like LoRaWAN are suitable for long-distance and low-power wireless communication scenarios. NB-IoT, a new type of Internet of Things communication technology, supports large-scale connections, has the characteristics of low power consumption and wide coverage, and is suitable for monitoring scenarios with low-speed data transmission and long standby times.

On the one hand, it enables real-time data transmission and sharing. Data such as dust, noise, and meteorological data collected by the sensors can be quickly uploaded to the cloud server. Relevant departments and staff can access and manage the data anytime and anywhere through web or mobile applications, and promptly grasp the environmental situation. On the other hand, it facilitates real-time monitoring and early warning. Once the data exceeds the standard, the system will automatically send out audible and visual alarms, and send text messages to notify relevant personnel. The law enforcement department can also view the on-site situation according to the video footage captured by the high-definition cameras and high-speed pan-tilt cameras, providing a basis for subsequent verification.

In addition, after being networked, the Dust Monitoring Equipment can be linked with various pollution control devices. For example, it can be connected to dust removal equipment. When the dust level reaches the set value, the dust removal equipment will be automatically turned on, realizing automatic control and effectively suppressing dust pollution.
