Negative Oxygen Ion Detection Instruments are devices used to rapidly assess air quality and play a key role in monitoring the indoor environment and detecting outdoor air. Using the "Capacitive Inhalation Measurement Technology", the Negative Oxygen Ion Detector accurately determines the amount of negative ions in the air. The operation of the instrument is based on the following steps: firstly, a specific voltage is applied to the polarisation plate of the sensor; secondly, the air to be measured is guided through the sensor at a uniform rate. Under the action of the electric field, tiny negative ions in the air are subjected to a deflection effect and are thus adsorbed by the capture plate of the instrument.
By quantifying the charge of the trapped negative ions through the collection system, the instrument is able to derive the precise charge concentration of the negative ions. This process is not only easy to use, but also provides important data for assessing and improving air quality.
