In environmental protection work, the control of dust pollution is an important part. Traditional methods such as manual inspections have problems such as low monitoring frequency, inaccurate data, and lagging responses, making it difficult to meet the needs of modern environmental protection supervision. The emergence of the Dust detector provides an effective means for the scientific, precise, and law-based control of dust pollution.
The Dust detector is an environmental monitoring device that integrates multiple technologies. It can monitor and analyze the concentration of dust particles in the air and related meteorological parameters in real-time and automatically. It is composed of parts such as a particulate matter sampling system, sensors, a data collection and transmission system, a background data processing system, and a monitoring management platform. It can monitor the concentrations of particulate matters such as PM2.5, PM10, and TSP, as well as various parameters such as noise, temperature, humidity, wind speed, and wind direction. Its working principles mainly include the β-ray method, the laser scattering method, and the oscillating microbalance method, etc. For example, the β-ray method calculates the mass of particulate matters by measuring the attenuation of β-rays and obtains the concentration of particulate matters.
The online dust monitoring equipment operates 24 hours a day, collecting data every minute and uploading it to the cloud. Supervisors can grasp the pollution situation in real-time, providing data for the treatment.
The equipment can customize the limit value of the dust concentration. When the limit is exceeded, it will issue an alarm. It can also be linked with fog cannons and sprinkler equipment to automatically reduce dust, quickly controlling the spread of pollution.
Through big data analysis and combined with meteorological parameters, the equipment can accurately locate the sources of dust pollution, clarify the transmission patterns, and assist supervisors in formulating effective treatment plans.
