Vehicle-Mount Weather Station: Rapid-Deployment Magnetic Sensor for On-the-Go Meteorological Monitoring
Article source:Weather station time:2025-05-30 09:26:41 viewed:613times
A Vehicle-Mount Weather Station is a meteorological device for vehicle-mounted mobile monitoring based on strong magnetic adsorption technology. Its core lies in a high-performance magnetic base paired with a flexible silicone layer, which firmly adheres to curved vehicle surfaces such as the roof or hood. This ensures stability even at high speeds while avoiding damage to the vehicle body. The device integrates multiple precision sensors, including ultrasonic meteorological sensors (for measuring wind speed and direction), temperature and humidity sensors, barometric pressure sensors, light sensors, and rain sensors, enabling real-time collection of multi-element data such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, air pressure, light intensity, and rainfall.
After data collection, a high-performance microprocessor processes the information, supporting on-site reading via wired interfaces like RS485/USB or remote transmission through wireless networks such as Bluetooth and 4G for real-time monitoring and data analysis. The design balances convenience and reliability: installation takes only seconds without vehicle modification, allowing quick transfer between different vehicles. The body uses a stainless steel bracket (corrosion-resistant and vibration-resistant) and an imported ABS material housing (protection grade above IP65), adapting to harsh environments like salt fog and dust for round-the-clock operation.
In addition to conventional six-element meteorological monitoring, it can expand environmental parameters such as solar radiation, PM2.5, and noise, with wide-ranging applications:
Transportation: Provides cross-wind warnings for bridges/tunnels and 积水 prediction for low-lying road sections.
Power Inspection: Monitors wind speed along transmission lines to assist in fault location.
Emergency Rescue: Maps fireground wind fields and optimizes disaster relief material delivery routes.
Environmental Monitoring: Tracks pollution source diffusion paths.
By combining dynamic meteorological data with GPS trajectories, it delivers real-time environmental decision support for multiple industries.
