Dust and noise are the main environmental protection issues on construction sites. Construction site dust mainly originates from operations such as earthwork excavation, material stacking, on-site mixing, and vehicle driving. It becomes more severe in dry and windy weather. Noise, on the other hand, is mainly generated by construction machinery and equipment like excavators, loaders, mixers, electric saws, vibrators, as well as the driving of transportation vehicles.
To address the dust problem, a continuous and closed enclosure not lower than 1.8 meters can be set up around the construction site to reduce the diffusion of dust. Set up sound insulation barriers such as color steel plates and brick walls around the construction site or on the side close to the residential area. Regularly maintain and service the construction equipment to ensure its proper operation. Reasonably plan the construction site, arrange high-noise equipment away from residential areas, and optimize the construction process to reduce the generation of unnecessary noise.
