Intelligent Road Weather Information Systems for Traffic Safety
Article source:Weather station time:2025-10-28 09:17:19 viewed:427times
FengTu's Road Weather Information System is a professional monitoring solution specifically designed for transportation scenarios such as highways, bridges, and tunnels. By integrating multiple high-precision sensors and intelligent analysis technology, the system achieves comprehensive monitoring of meteorological conditions along transportation routes, providing timely and accurate meteorological information services for traffic management departments and the traveling public.
The system mainly consists of a visibility sensor, remote sensing road condition sensor, six-element meteorological sensor, data collector, pole bracket, power supply system, and cloud platform. Among them, the visibility sensor adopts the aerosol forward scattering principle, which can accurately measure visibility changes within the range of 5 meters to 10 kilometers, with measurement errors controlled within ±2%, ±5%, and ±10% respectively for different distance segments. The six-element meteorological sensor integrates temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, atmospheric pressure, and rainfall monitoring functions, achieving accurate measurement of wind speed and direction through ultrasonic phase detection technology.
The system is equipped with an infrared remote sensing road condition sensor that can non-contact measure key parameters such as road water film thickness, ice thickness, snow thickness, and slipperiness. The sensor has a detection distance of 2 to 8 meters, can identify various road conditions including dry, wet, waterlogged, snowy, and icy, and generates corresponding road condition reports.
The system comes standard with GPRS wireless transmission function, supporting real-time remote data transmission. The power supply system adopts a dual-mode design of solar energy and municipal electricity, which can be flexibly selected according to actual environmental conditions.
The supporting cloud platform adopts a CS architecture design, supporting direct access via mobile phones and PC browsers. The platform has functions such as real-time data display, historical data query, data curve analysis, and map display, while supporting multi-account and multi-device management and SMS alert services. Users can set custom thresholds through the platform, and when monitoring parameters exceed the set range, the system will automatically send warning information.
