The mini weather station is capable of remote real-time monitoring of a wide range of meteorological parameters through wireless communication technologies, including 4G, Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT), and LoRa. These parameters include, but are not limited to, air temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, barometric pressure, rainfall, light levels, carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration, and air quality indicators such as fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and coarse particulate matter (PM10).
These data are transmitted to a cloud server via a wireless network, ensuring real-time data availability and accessibility. Users can monitor this data in real time through the accompanying cloud application (App), web-based platform or PC-based software. These platforms are equipped with a powerful data refresh function that can automatically refresh the data every 3 seconds to ensure that users get the latest meteorological information. The data has a default retention period and users can export these data at any time as required for meteorological data analysis and research.
The cloud platform's software also provides a location management function, allowing users to accurately locate and track monitoring stations. The centralised monitoring management function allows users to monitor multiple monitoring stations from a single interface, improving monitoring efficiency. The platform is also able to incorporate a video monitoring function that allows real-time observation of the site conditions at the monitoring stations.
To further enhance the usefulness of the system, when the monitored data exceeds the preset safety thresholds or undergoes abnormal changes, the system will immediately and proactively alert the management personnel through the notification function to ensure that timely measures can be taken to respond to possible environmental problems or emergencies. This proactive notification mechanism greatly improves the system's responsiveness and user convenience.
