The Beidou-based Environmental Monitoring Station is a comprehensive monitoring device integrating multiple technologies. It is widely used in meteorological parameter collection and data reporting across various fields, including natural environments, water conservancy projects, and urban landscapes. Its core hydrological big data service platform adopts a B/S (Browser/Server) architecture, allowing users to access the system conveniently via the network. This enables centralized management, analysis, and retrieval of monitoring data, meeting information management needs in different scenarios.

In terms of communication and transmission, the monitoring station breaks through the traditional limitation of relying solely on the networks of the three major operators (China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom). It adopts an integrated transmission solution combining Beidou RDSS (Radio Determination Satellite Service) short-message technology with 3G/4G networks. This technical combination not only ensures nationwide blind-spot-free coverage but also enables real-time and stable data transmission even in remote mountainous areas, deserts, and other regions with weak traditional communication signals, providing reliable communication support for remote monitoring.

The device features high flexibility and customization capabilities, supporting local deployment. It can be customized to connect to various designated sensors (such as water level gauges and rainfall sensors) according to actual monitoring needs, accurately collecting hydrological parameters including water level, flow rate, and rainfall. Equipped with a high-definition camera, the system captures real-time hydrological images of the monitoring area, allowing users to view on-site conditions via remote terminals and intuitively grasp hydrological dynamics.

Based on the collected hydrological data and preset early warning rules, the monitoring station can automatically analyze and judge hydrological conditions. When it detects situations that may trigger flood disasters—such as excessive water levels or abnormal flow rates—it immediately activates the early warning mechanism. Relevant personnel are promptly notified through sound and light alarms, information pushes, and other methods. The system also provides visual management functions, presenting hydrological data in the form of charts and curves. This helps managers quickly grasp hydrological change trends, formulate scientific prevention and control measures, and effectively reduce casualties and economic losses caused by flood disasters.
