Dust Monitoring Equipment & Supporting Data Platform
Article source:Weather station time:2025-09-03 09:20:31 viewed:291times
Dust Monitoring Equipment is an open online monitoring terminal for pollution sources that integrates a variety of advanced technologies. Its core components include key parts such as an online particulate matter monitor, an online noise monitor, a meteorological parameter sensor, a video monitor, a data acquisition board, and an information platform.
Its application scenarios are extremely wide-ranging. On one hand, it can monitor the emission of unorganized smoke and dust pollution sources such as construction dust, sand and gravel yards, coal storage yards, and straw burning, enabling real-time tracking of pollutant release dynamics in these locations. On the other hand, it can conduct online real-time automatic monitoring of ambient air quality in different areas including residential areas, commercial areas, road traffic zones, and construction sites, providing data support for air quality management and control in these regions.
In terms of the functions of the monitoring terminal, it integrates multiple monitoring tasks. Specifically, the atmospheric particulate matter concentration monitoring can accurately track changes in the concentrations of PM10 and PM2.5—two types of particulate matter that have a significant impact on air quality. The meteorological parameter monitoring covers indicators such as temperature, humidity, wind speed, and wind direction, which are crucial for analyzing the diffusion trends of pollutants. The noise monitoring can obtain real-time noise decibel values in the monitored area, helping to manage and control noise pollution. Additionally, the video monitoring function for construction site scenes can visually display on-site conditions, allowing managers to promptly identify and address issues that may cause dust or other forms of pollution.
The data platform supporting the monitoring terminal is built on an internet architecture, forming a networked operation model. All types of data collected by the monitoring terminal—whether it is particulate matter concentration, meteorological parameters, noise data, or video information—can be transmitted to the data platform in a timely and accurate manner via wired or wireless networks. This data transmission mechanism ensures that managers can access monitoring data at any time, providing a basis for subsequent management decisions.
The data platform also has rich functions: it can perform alarm processing for abnormal data, sending timely alerts when data exceeds the normal range; it can record all monitoring data in detail, facilitating subsequent query and traceability; it supports data query operations, allowing managers to quickly obtain the required information; and it can conduct statistical analysis on data and generate various statistical reports, with the ability to output statistical results in the form of reports. These functions provide strong data support for the planning, evaluation, law enforcement, and other work of environmental management departments.
