Forestry Weather Stations: Building a Multi-Dimensional Fire Prevention Barrier for Forests via "Technological Prevention + Human Prevention"
Article source:Weather station time:2025-07-22 09:19:45 viewed:482times
Forest fires pose a severe threat to the ecological environment and the safety of people's lives and property. To effectively prevent and control forest fires, Forestry Weather Stations have emerged, establishing a three-dimensional forest fire prevention barrier through the innovative model of "technological prevention + human prevention".
Forestry Weather Stations utilize advanced scientific and technological means to achieve multi-dimensional and accurate monitoring of forest fire risks. Integrating the Internet of Things, intelligent sensing, and multi-source information fusion technologies, they can collect real-time meteorological, phenological, and combustible material data. Through the collaborative networking of various sensors, they can comprehensively monitor key fire risk factors such as air temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, illuminance, soil moisture content, and surface litter moisture content. The comprehensive monitoring stations for forest and grassland fire risk factors set up in various regions can dynamically monitor surrounding environmental data, transmit the data back to the system in real-time via public networks and satellites, and automatically generate fire risk analysis reports. These reports provide precise, multi-dimensional, and near-real-time big data support for fire risk early warning models, enhancing the scientificity and accuracy of forest fire prevention command decisions.
"Technological prevention" is not only reflected in the data collection of monitoring stations but also includes intelligent analysis and early warning systems. The forestry and grassland visual intelligent platform applies video surveillance, thermal imaging sensing, field positioning, and video intelligent analysis capabilities to conduct all-weather, all-round, and fully automatic detection, monitoring, and early warning identification of open flames, smoldering fires, and high-temperature self-igniting substances in forest areas. Once an abnormal situation is detected, the system immediately issues an alarm, enabling relevant departments to respond quickly, achieve early detection and early disposal, and nip fire hazards in the bud.
While technology empowers prevention, the construction of "human prevention" forces cannot be ignored. All regions have actively established professional emergency rescue teams, including county-level comprehensive emergency rescue teams, townships with village-level voluntary fire-fighting teams, and equipped with mountain patrol and forest rangers. These personnel are responsible for daily patrols, hidden danger investigations, fire fighting, and other important duties. To improve professional quality and emergency rescue capabilities, various regions have organized training activities in batches to enhance the practical capabilities of comprehensive emergency rescue teams, including skill training on the use of high-lift relay water pumps and the maintenance and repair of wind-driven fire extinguishers. This enables them to carry out rescue work quickly and effectively in the face of fires.
